photo Thinking of our sponsored child Rio, who lives in the shadow of the dormant volcano, Mount Muria in Java, Indonesia. It’s amazing to see his progress over the years.  He’s in 3rd grade now, and is getting good grades.  He describes it as “the long dry season”, and “It is hot.” He is also getting his teeth and health checked.  This is great news from the other side of the planet. I look forward to our continued correspondence, especially as he get older and the conversations evolve.  His letters are a small reminder of how we can make a difference each day.
